I thought I would do one more post before I go on holiday and I've not done a favourites post in ages, I think I want to do these regularly again. This months favourites are two hair products, two skincare, two nail items and a t shirt.
Lets get into it!
Seche Vive Instant Gel Effect Top Coat & Cirque Colors Fame.
This top coat by Seche is one of my all time favourites, I also have the quick drying top coat from Seche but I think this one gives you a glass finish and is really hard wearing, I notice when I use this my mani will last longer. I buy this from Boots for £9.95.
Now the Cirque Colors polish is a relatively new buy, I bought Cirques whole Vice 2017 collection a month or so ago and I think out of all seven this one is my favourite, well at least for this month! You only need two coats of this polish for it to be fully opaque and its long lasting when used with a base and top coat.
I would say this colour is a blue and green (cyan) combination that looks so fresh and gorgeous on your nails, especially with a tan. I bought this polish from a online store called Rainbow Connection, but she is currently out of stock, you can buy it in the USA for $14 (I do think they ship international) but you can keep checking Rainbow Connection for a restock (link is here)
Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub and La Roche Posay Effaclar Clay Mask.
I have always loved Burt's Bees, especially their baby range as it smells divine! I have had this scrub before and loved how it made my skin glow. I stopped using it for a while but recently bought it again after seeing it online by accident. It is a brilliant exfoliator and really does clean your skin deep down I actually found out that willowbark is a natural source of salicylic acid when doing some extra research into this stuff, no wonder its good on my spots. I use this in circular motions all over my face and neck. I bought this from Burt's Bees for £11.49.
Now on to the face mask! I have been using La Roche Posay products for a while and they are the only things that can keep my skin clear of spots. I found this on Feel Unique when buying some of the Effaclar range, it was on offer so thought I'll give it a try. I am in LOVE with this mask! Not only does it control the oil on my face, it makes my pores shrink and dries spots out quicker, sometimes I only use it on my chin and nose which are my worst areas instead of using it on my whole face.
The mask costs £9.10 (on offer at the moment) and I purchased it from Feel Unique. Such a fantastic mask, really can't recommend it enough.
Coco Loco Coconut Oil and Style Freedom Rejuvenating Vitamin Oil.
If you are a reader of my blog I have spoken before about how much I love raw coconut oil, its brilliant on you face as a mask and moisturiser as well as your body, but my main use for it is as a mask on my hair, I leave this on for a few hours then double shampoo. I do this because I suffer with scalp psoriasis and it can remove it after a few treatments. I bought this one from Aldi for under £3!
The Style Freedom oil is on my favourites as this stuff is amazing on my bleached ends. It is a weird feeling oil, feels more like water and if you get this be careful when you do a pump as it comes shooting out! But my hair drinks this stuff up and it makes my frazzled ends feel lovely and conditioned and also makes them look healthy, I am on to my second bottle now so that shows how much I love it. I bought this from Superdrug for £7.99.
Simply Nailogical Holo Sexual T Shirt.
This is the only non beauty item in my favourites. I have been in love with this top since I got it almost a year ago from Simply Nailogical's first Croudmade campaign. This top always turns heads, especially in the sunshine when you get the full holo effect!
You have to be careful washing these tops, always inside out and on a gentle delicate wash, use a colour safe detergent and don't use fabric softener as it will ruin the letters. Cristine is still selling them but in a rose colour holo now, here is the link, the prices are $22.99 and they come in white as well as the black.
That's everything! I do think I will start doing this every month again, I have so many things that are my favourites but I don't want to make it too repetitive. Have you loved or hated anything I have mentioned? Let me know.
