Barry M Cosmetics | Cosmic Lights Highlighting Palette
Barry M Cosmic Lights Highlighting Palette £7.99 from Superdrug
I think this will be my first makeup review in a few posts, I've had this for over a month and have used it a lot and from the get go I will say I have really loved this palette and I am shocked by that! Usually I am not a huge fan of Barry M makeup, well except the nail polish and lipsticks I adore those.
When I first saw this highlighter I knew I had to have it, I am a self confessed "holosexual!" just look at that holo! It also has a great sized mirror in which is great if you are doing your makeup on the go!
I did expect this to be chalky and not very pigmented but only due to experience I have had with some other Barry M highlighters and when I first touched it I knew that this one was different.
This palette comes with 6 highlighters, 4 cream and 2 powder.
Here are the finger swatches of the highlighters..
This palette has some gorgeous shades! A pale peach, a shiny pink, gorgeous golden bronze, a pearlescent purple, a blue toned white and a champagne shimmer. My favourites are the blue toned white, pearlescent purple and champagne shimmer.
The formula is really nice, all of the shades blend beautifully and look fantastic on my skin. I have really been impressed with the quality of this palette, as I said before I have been a little down on Barry M with makeup, well this palette has totally changed my mind and persuaded me to give the makeup in this brand another chance.
I even let my daughter have a go, maybe I shouldn't..
Isabella is wearing a combination of the champagne shimmer shade and the blue toned white.
She loves this palette as much as me.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone regardless of the budget, its a brilliant highlighter, I have had compliments when I am wearing this and I love to just pop one of the shades on top of my cheeks to make myself look more awake on the school runs.
I am a little late reviewing this as it has been out for a couple of months, I just wanted to make sure I gave it a proper chance before making a post.
Have your tried this? What did you think?
