Mossy by Picture Polish

Picture Polish Nail Lacquer in Mossy, £9.99 from Rainbow Connection

I love Picture Polish, they are an amazing brand with really unique colours and finishes in nail lacquer.  I own quite a few of their polishes now, maybe around 8 and I am hoping to increase that collection around Christmas..hint hint!

All of my Picture Polish lacquers apply well and only need two coats, I have used them with and without a base coat and they have never stained my nails.  The base coats I tend to stick to are Glisten & Glow Stuck on Blu! Base Coat £7.20 and I occasionally use OPI Nail Envy £18.65, but please shop around for the Nail Envy as you can get it cheaper than I have linked here.

Now for top coat I only ever use one now which is by Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat £7.20, such a brilliant quick dry top coat that can make any mani last, especially if you reapply it again after a couple of days.

Glisten & Glow HK Girl Fast Drying & Super Shiny Clear Top Coat (far left available here) Mossy in the middle! Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu! Long Lasting, Stain Preventing + Sticky Base coat (far right available here)

Not the best swatch, but just look how gorgeous this is!  I took this picture with the flash on my camera.

I am in love with this colour, it looks gorgeous in all lights!  I have only had it on a couple of days and the compliments I have been getting surprised me.  It's also a very christmassy colour so I think it will be perfect for stamping and other nail art.  It does have little flecks of glitter that look orange and catch the light but I still think I will be able to stamp with it, I will let you all know if that doesn't work out.

Picture polish is such a brilliant brand, and Rainbow Connection are a fantastic Indie brand stockist, if you are looking for a polish that's different, check out Rainbow Connection.  They stock all things nails, stamping stuff and tools, even a nail themed colouring book.

Most of Rainbow Connections polishes are "big 3 free" which means they don't contain the following three chemicals..
Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Methylene Glycol/Formalin and Toluene.  Don't know why the say three when it looks four...

Overall I love this nail polish and I cant wait to try some nail art with it, will be able to make some stunning Christmas nails with it!

Have you tried Picture Polish? What did you think?
