Bourjois City Radiance Foundation and Radiance Reveal Concealer..

Bourjois City Radiance Foundation in 02 Vanilla (£9.99 at Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer in 02 Beige (£7.99

First post in almost a month! Got so much stuff to talk about but struggling with the time...and the computer!  Doesn't seem to want to work for me properly too.

I was going to keep this a short and sweet post, rather than a massive "raych ramble".

I do love Bourjois foundations...well all of them except "Nude Sensation" god that was one awfully heavy and greasy foundation!  This one however is light considering its got an SPF of 30 packed into it, I apply it with a brush and it doesn't take much effort in blending to get a good coverage.

It feels hydrating and comfortable, gives a medium sheer coverage which makes my face look fresh and glowy.  I suffer from a very patchy completion and this evens it out brilliantly.  I think this foundation feels quite cooling on my skin, this foundation would be good on normal, dry and oily skin types, I have quite dry skin unless its my time of the month, then my skin is like an oil slick!

I also love the design of the bottle, I find squeezy bottles better for foundation, especially when you have it in a travel makeup bag, less messy surprises!

My only bone of contention with Bourjois with this foundation, as well as their other foundations is their shade range, this foundation has 6 shades and they are all very light.  The one I am using (02 Vanilla) is an NC 15/20 (MAC foundations shade codes).

Overall I really love this foundation, for a budget price its excellent and I feel its almost like my Nars Sheer Glow foundation, I do say "almost" though! It does wear really well and lasts most of the day even with rain and sweat thrown against it, even has an anti pollution screen which can help with premature ageing! I am so in love with this gorgeous little bottle.

Right lets start on the concealer...

I'll try to make this one quicker than the foundation!

I have only ever really loved one budget concealer and that's Collection Lasting Perfection, but not anymore, I love this one!  Its amazing on my under eye bags, and man do I have dark panda under eye bags, most concealers just hide them a little but really dry my skin out underneath.

I have to admit I loved this a little before I had even used it, I love the sleek bottle and the applicator, I am a sucker for pretty packaging.

At the moment this concealer only comes in 3 shades, which to be honest is awful!  Bourjois need to start coming out with more shades and soon.  I wish there was a couple of lighter shades than this one (I have 02 Beige) for highlighting and some darker ones for contouring.

It has a creamy water weight texture which is perfect for the delicate under eye area, it blends beautifully without lots of tugging or pulling on the skin.  I did a little research into the concealer to see what was actually in it and I was surprised to find ...."the formula has been enriched with both water from the glaciers of Mont Blanc and Hyaluronic Acid for continuous hydration".

The only slightly bad point about this concealer is you do need to add a little powder to it after application or it wont stay in place that long, I follow with some translucent powder which does the trick.

Overall I really do adore this concealer, it covers well and hydrates your skin, I feel that this concealer gives you a glowy finish to the skin just like the foundation does.  If you set it with a little powder you can get 10 hours of wear out of it!

Sorry for the extremely long post again but I wanted to make sure I covered everything!!  I hope I did :)

Have you tried the foundation and concealer?  What did you think? Please let me know :)
