Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment..From Straw to Silk!
Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment 200ml...£34.50 from Origins.co.uk
I have wanted this for a very long time..I originally saw Ojon advertised on QVC, watched a hairdresser demonstrate how good it was really made me interested, as my poor hair goes through so much, I've bleached it, coloured it, straightened it daily, constant blow drying..you name it I've done it to my hair.
So because of this I am always on the look out for magic conditioners that fix all my hair problems, especially my split ends, but alas..non really exist to fix those pesky things, only thing that works there is a good hair cut!
What put me off buying this initially was the price, it is so expensive at £34 I just couldn't justify spending that amount of money on a conditioner...eyeshadows yes...conditioner no! But I bit the bullet and got it...and I am so very glad I did!
When I first opened it though I was a little concerned..
It is hard! Like rock solid! Now I didn't actually read how to use it so I wasn't expecting that, this picture above looks like I have used a lot of it but its around a teaspoon and a half, and I use that mostly on the ends of my hair as they are the part that needs the conditioner the most!
You take a small amount of product (teaspoon or a half teaspoon) rub it between your palms until it melts and then apply it to your hair, I do my ends first, then take a paddle brush and brush the oil all through my hair, if I feel like I have to apply more, I do it a tiny bit at a time as I don't want to waste any.
First time I used this I left it on for 7 hours, it says to leave it on a minimum of 20 mins before shampooing, it says for very damaged hair to keep it on for longer or even overnight, and use some gentle heat from your hairdryer to help the oil really soak in.
Doesn't take much to wash it out which I was thankful for! I did worry it would take a lot of shampooing to remove it. I used my normal conditioner, rinsed then left my hair to naturally dry, didn't apply any product to it as I wanted to see if the treatment had done anything.
Once my hair had dried completely it felt amazing, like silk...hence the title of this post...from straw to silk! My hair felt amazing, I didn't even straighten it I just left it as it was, it looked so healthy I couldn't stop touching it!
Overall...I would recommend this if you have over treated and very damaged hair, its a great treatment and the effects last more than one wash, my hair felt deeply conditioned for a week or so, now I was tempted to keep using it every week, but because it costs so much I decided to keep it as a monthly treat which I think is best...
Sorry for this very long post..because of the cost of this treatment I wanted to be really thorough! Have you used this? What did you think of it?
