Trying to contour....Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palette in 01 Light/Medium

Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palette in 01 Light/ £6.99.

I am not great at I said it! I have tried and tried and I always seem to get one half of my face done alright...then the other looks a right mess! Now I don't yet own any high end contouring palettes, I didn't see point of investing in one yet until I can actually contour properly!

I bought the lightest palette from this range (well there are only two of them!) I had a go and after using this a few times I think I need the darker one!

I love the bronze in this palette, I have actually used it alone a few times since I got it, its hard to get a cheap and still good matte bronze...What I didn't take a picture of and I am kicking myself for it now is it comes with a little brush underneath the palette..which also has a mirror, now the brush is not one of those usual crappy brushes that most budget palettes come with, so I have taken a picture from Maybelline's website to show you...

The brush is the perfect shape for contouring, in practising I apply the bronze first with the brush that comes with it, then I use a blending brush to buff it out a little, I use my fingers to highlight, I really think the darker palette would work with me better, but this one is nice and I am actually enjoying my practises!

I would show you all my contouring efforts...but I am a little self conscious about it, if someone asks me I might though!

Overall this is a great little budget contouring palette, probably the best one I have so far, and I own ones by Sleek and Barry M (which is awful) one by Bourjois which is nice but not very pigmented...Do you know of any more budget ones?

Have any of you tried this? What do you think??
