Losing weight....Day One :)




Please ignore my creased dress just threw anything on this morning :) I must look like a tramp...


My weight has always been up and down, I have struggled to keep it under control for years, some times I'm okay and comfortable with my weight, but at the moment I am not.

I had a baby almost 9 months ago, I gained quite a bit of weight during that pregnancy, but I lost most of it in the weeks after only to gain it back and more.

I have reached 12stone 12 pounds, this is not the heaviest I have been in the past, but I really need to lose this, I have health issues which really deplete my energy so starting a workout is a real battle.

I have decided to post my weight because I felt like I needed the extra incentive to carry on my diet and not give up easily, I thought if I post on my blog, I will want to keep it up (logic made total sense in my head)

So this is day one of my diet, because I have dieted before I have bits a pieces from other diet plans I have followed in the past, instead of going out and buying more stuff I have decided to use what I already have.

I am going to use these 


I have a leftover Body By Vi shape supplement left from last time I gave dieting a go, I wouldn't really recommend Body By Vi if you are starting out, its ridiculously expensive, you get 2 packs if I remember rightly and some sachets to flavour the shake, they do taste good tho, but not worth the money at all.

My cousin is a Juice Plus seller and he gave me these to try, they are chewable "vitamins" they basically give you your 5 fruit and veg per day, they sat in my cupboard for a couple of weeks and I have just recently started them, good thing about the chewables is you can give them to your children so they get their 5 a day, if they are like my kids who seem to run at the first sign of broccoli then these are pretty good, nowhere near as expensive as Body By Vi, you can also get shakes and capsules which I will probably order once the Body By Vi shakes run out.

For exercise I thought of trying post pregnancy ones to start to get my body back into the rhythm of working out again, I saw this dvd when I was pregnant...


This is Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer, so it must be good (to be honest I only got this one as it was on offer at the time) I bought it from Amazon.co.uk.  I have watched it and it seems to be a very intense workout for post pregnancy, with focus on you abs and getting all you muscles there to start working again, building your core strength.

I am going to post every other day on how my diet is going, what I am eating, what exercise I am doing, I'm hoping by doing this it will give me motivation to stay on it :)  I will also be posting my progress on my Instagram.

If anyone has any tips for me on how to exercise after pregnancy and what worked for them, please comment, I need all the help I can get!
